Area Rentals would like to offer you a trial period to try our listing service free of charge. We ask in exchange for your trial period that you link our site from your web site and place the text, "See http://arearentals.net/" along with your regular newspaper advertisements. Anyone browsing the newspaper will be able to view your full detailed listings which can also reduce your print ad space saving you money.

1. Setup an account on Area Rentals by selecting the city to list in and clicking on "Owners and Managers" at the top of the page. For most cities, there is a one time $5 fee for establishing an account. (we will credit the signup fee to your account once your trial period begins.)
2. Then you can add inactive properties (10 minimum - no maximum).
3. From your account menu buttons click on "Extras" and get one of our link buttons placed on your website that will link directly to your properties on Area Rentals. (if you need help, call 800-244-6945 09:00-17:00 EST M-F and we can assist.)
4. Modify your listings in your local paper to include "See http://arearentals.net/".
5. When your link can be verified online and your print ad can be verified online, call us at 800-244-6945 (09:00-17:00 EST M-F) and we will check your account for the 10 minimum listings and start your 90 day no charge account. If your local paper does not publish the classifieds online, you can arrange to fax or email a scanned image of the page and the date line (at the top of the page) in a single image to us for verification.
6. The link and the print ad must be active for the 90 day trial period.

That's it! We want you to have the very best in listing services and there's not a better way to find out how good something is unless you try it. Just like you, we are in the business of providing quality service and our reputation also relies on us doing our very best for you.

Multi-Property Owner/Managers

You can qualify if you own 3 or more separate properties to list. Multi unit apartments count as 1 property per location. If you have several properties, even if they are not all active you can start your free trial when you need to activate a property for listing. Just follow the same steps above, except listing 3 minimum inactive properties. Owner/Managers are not required to link or insert http://arearentals.net/ into the print ads but are encouraged to use them to promote their properties.

Companies with LESS than 100 properties

Host your company web site with us and get up to 100 properties listed (active and inactive) for no charge. You don't have to worry about keeping an account balance and will have unlimited access to all AreaRentals.Net features. This account is designed for the smaller or just starting out companies who need to be able to compete with the "big guys".

Custom web sites can be uploaded by your developer or if you need a site designed we can refer you to our Designer and you can get a professional and customer oriented site up and running in a matter of days for a very competitive price. If you have a website already hosted elsewhere we can help you transfer it to one of our servers and get it up and going. There could be a small fee if we need to transfer your DNS registration otherwise if you can manage the DNS update we charge nothing to transfer the content.

Companies with MORE than 100 properties

Custom web sites can be uploaded by your developer or if you need a site designed we can refer you to our webdesigner and you can get a professional and customer oriented site up and running in a matter of days for a very competitive price.

If you have a website already hosted elsewhere we can help you transfer it to one of our servers and get it up and going. There could be a small fee if we need to transfer your DNS registration otherwise if you can manage the DNS update we charge nothing to transfer the content. Our servers feature Apache-PHP-MySQL or Microsoft IIS and FrontPage Support. Your current site developer can help you choose what's best for you.
